One of Soundwave's cassettes, whose robot mode resembled a bat. Ratbat took over the primary spying role among Decepticons following Unicron's attack.

Decepticon fuel auditor who (somehow) became Earth's Decepticon commander following Megatron's apparent destruction. While he was certainly a fuel-efficient leader, he was ultimately no match for Scorponok, who destroyed him to seize the Underbase and took over Earth's Decepticons.
Dreamwave
Leader of the Ultracons, a splinter faction of Decepticons that arose during Megatron's disappearance during the disrupted test of the first Space Bridge. His alternate mode was a bat-like creature.
